Beware the Ides of March
Should I have never taken this case?
Now damned in Hell, Divinity a farce
Was I cursed for looking upon your beautiful face?
I let my heart rule my head
And now...I am dead

The fires of hell do burn me
Voices of the damned condemn me
Evil wishes to corrupt me
But the greatest pain to me-
I never said I love you

The Devil is a lie but God is real
I was offered eternity in Paradise
But Heaven would not end the pain I feel
And you would still mourn my demise
And so to fight the Daemons of man
I became the monster humans damn

The fires of hell do burn me
Voices of the damned condemn me
Evil wishes to corrupt me
But the greatest pain to me-
I never said I love you

So now I watch you in the shadows, you go on with life
I see your hidden tears, I hear your silent weeping
And for me, pain is sharper in the afterlife
Memories burn me, Dreams cause agony and stop me sleeping
But when the damned are in Hell and Divinity is through
You will hear me say, I love you

This is absolutely wonderful! There's so much emotion woven into every line, and the story it tells is one that can be felt, rather than just read. I think that this is beautifully done and very touching. Fabulous! <3
