Okay, to start off I would like to offer review of this:

Okay as you may have learned from me in the past, I am a massive lego geek, Stars Wars lego was my favourite and I have bought the lego video games, original star wars, batman, pirates of the Caribbean and harry potter. Now I was keen to see the lego movie because I thought it would be a cute, funny and nice movie to see for the nostalgia value...ladies and gentlemen...It.was. BRILLIANT.

It was like Toy Story 3 but right in the lego feels, and the twist at the end really got me in the feels.

There was one aspect of the movie I was worried about:

Yes, Batman. Now as you all know I'm a big batman geek. However when I played Lego Batman 2 I thought they got his character down pat in an acceptable kid-friendly lego way. When I saw the adverts for the lego Movie I was like....what are they doing to him? Yeah I was worried they may have messed with him a little too far i.e gone overboard with the memes and cliches...guess what...I WAS WRONG
Lego Batman voiced by Will Arnett was both badass, cool and had his adorable moments like every other lego character and despite it all being an exaggeration and parody...they did him pretty damn well. It's a version of Batman which was both funny but also did the character justice and showed him as a true cool hero. And his interactions with WildStyle was glorious and it ended beautifully for  them in a way which made me salute the brick knight.

So if you haven't already seen the movie go see it now, you won't regret it! Also got to give a shout out to this cute ball of hidden badass

Seriously...I love Unikitty!! She is awesome and can make me cry man-tears when she gets upset

Okay onto the next part of this Journal is this.
I am British. I was born in England and whilst I am not part of any aristocracy or part of any upper class family I can affect the posh accent rather well. Now here's something you should know about me, I don't much care for the Royal Family, our sports teams or any of the classical signs of patriotism. I do however take pride in our actors, because let's face it British people tend to give the best actors and usually we play the bad guys.

Now don't get me wrong, we play pretty awesome bad guys and we can do it so well. So imagine if you will how my British pride responded when I saw this:

Yeah, it's good to be bad. We brits to bad guys no other country could do bad guys...and that makes me feel proud
Oh and here is the link seeing as the embed is being a bitch www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fGglr…

I loved that trailer for the cars, especially when Tom was on op Gear and they showed it, he was all like 'Yeah, I'm English and we all play awesome bad guys' (Not a quote, just what I thought!) And the Lego movie was great, I saw it in the Premier  time slot, and it was really cool! I am really excited about the second one!

And yes!
Batman = Awesome!
Unikitty = Cute + Badass :giggle:
